Can I receive my subsctription of the New York Times to my Amazon Kindle if I step out of the country?
I am thinking of buying one Amazon Kindle. The only concern is that, I am living outside the united states. Can I use my Kindle to receive my subscription such as New York Times or Wall Street Journal? Thanks

As the information is delivered to the Kindle via EVDO (High Speed Cellular Network), you may hold problems getting your subscriptions. You would have to check the country that you are going to against the coverage map of whoever Amazon uses as their provider. From what I have been competent to find out their WhisperNET service uses Sprint EVDO. The coverage map that I was able to find showed nothing outside of the Continental US.
The Kindle uses Sprint's EVDO meet people to deliver content. Sprint has roaming agreements with other carriers internationally, but coverage is not as extensive as T-Mobile or AT&T. Look here to see if you'll be covered, and you'll know:
