Ipod isn't for reading, the peak is just similar to screen of your pc.

Hope it help :)
Yes, the Kindle DX should be a perfect clash for your needs. Read this thorough review and you'll know:

Don't use iPod for reading. If for occasional reading no problem; but if you read a lot it will hurt your eyes because iPod isn't designed for reading (it has backlight, a moment ago like your computer screen).

One final tip, you can get a lot of free books contained by the public domain here, after you get the Kindle:

Hope this helps. Source(s): I've the Kindle 2 and I really like it. But I ruminate the Kindle DX will meet your need even better.

Yes, the Amazon Kindle should be able to do what you want. Read here to decide whether the Kindle 2 or the Kindle DX suits your need:

I think the Amazon Kindle DX should be what you want. It is an ebook reader next to a big screen; and the screen uses a technology that simulate reading on paper so it won't hurt your eyes even for reading seriously with it. There are some very good reviews roughly speaking it here:

Hope this helps you decide. Source(s): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015TC… (Kindle DX homepage)
