Some Kindle 2 question?
Its been hinted to me that I am going to receive a Kindle for my birthday. :)
I have some questions give or take a few it.
-When you buy the kindle, does it come with any books? Does it come with any like 10 free book downloads or anything?
-Ive hear there are sites that have free downloads for the Kindle: What are some of the best sites? And how do you get them on your kindle if you are supposed to download files from the kindle library straight from the kindle?
-Also Ive heard that some libraries have free e-books for download if you are a member of the library, but how do find them?
If anyone can answer any of these I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks

No, it doesn't come near any books, but you can get these books for free from Amazon:

There is a website here, where you can get over 20,000 free books that are within public domain, for your Kindle device:
http://manybooks.net/
There should be some sites where you can get pirate books, but they are illegal and you should not step to those sites... Many of them will spread virus too...
You may read this review too, it mentions quite a lot of benefits of the Kindle, the device that you will have soon:

Hope this help.
Congradulation. I've the Kindle 2 too, and I love it very much.
The Kindle 2 doesn't come with any book. But Amazon does provide quite a great deal of free books for you to download. I've previously bookmarked an article here talking about this:

I'm sorry that I don't know much about other free sites, as I a moment ago got all my books from Amazon Kindle store. But if you find some books, you can follow the steps in the box "Transferring Files Via USB" here:

Hope it helps :)
