Kindle or Sony EReader?
I am looking into an electronic reader because these textbooks are so heavy. Which is better the kindle or the sony? I have hear that both are good. what are some pros and cons about each? Also, would I know how to find the textbooks I need for my classes and how much would they be? Do you think it's worth spending the money on an ereader or would you suggest that I stick to the standard, old-school textbook?

I own the Kindle 2 and I like it highly much. It is better than Sony Reader because Amazon provide good content support, and the number of books available in Kindle format is kept on increasing (right now within are over 350,000 Kindle books). Sony Reader, however, many users complain that it is difficult to find suitable books, and books on it are more expensive than the Kindle. Other benefits of the Kindle over Sony Reader include the free wireless internet access, and the text-to-speech function.
If you need to read PDF with charts and graphics, you may want to walk for the Kindle DX. Read this review and you should be able to decide which one to get:

And the Kindle 2 is much better in my opinion. It has merely slashed in price and now it is cheaper than the Sony Reader. It will be more easy for you to find books on the Sony Reader too.
