Can a Sony Reader download Kindle books from Amazon?
I'm new to these and want to get the Sony Reader but want to know if will display the same products as the Kindle.

No, sorry. I have a Kindle, and they are enormously uptight about that kind of thing. They be paid sure that their books can only be read on the Kindle. I love my Kindle, but Amazon is a little strict when it comes to their content.

Sony Reader is completely different from the Amazon Kindle. I'll say-so you better choose the Kindle, it just has a price drop (you can always see the hottest price on its homepage) and it is now cheaper than Sony Reader. There are much more selection for books on the Kindle too. I've elaborated more something like this in another answer here:
