Can you skip page on the Kindle?
I want to buy a Kindle, but before I shell out the money I want to make sure I will like it. I hear someone say that there is no way to jump to any other page then the previous or next one. So if I want to re read something that happened 75 page ago do I have to press the previous button 75 times?

you can flip through 5% of the book by pressing and holding the ALT key and the Next or Previous page key. Not sure about the new kindle though

What you can do is to search for the chapter number or chapter title, or some text that you can remember, to find the place you're looking for. You can also use ALT-B to bookmark a page.
