Which is a better buy, the Kindle 2 or the Asus E-Reader?

Also, can you get books for as cheap with the Asus E-Reader?
Answers:
I enjoy a Kindle 2 and LOVE it!!

Here's an article that tells you about what Kindle can do... plus you can get discounts by going beneath resources. I think they just did a price cut. Source(s): http://www.ehow.com/how_4808104_buy-a-ki…
Is the E-Reader even availible however?

The last I heard was that the Asus be going to use a traditional "computer-type" screen, instead of the more expensive e-ink screen that Kindle uses. This is a major consideration if one wishes to use the reader outdoors on anything but the most overcast day. Source(s): Kindle 2 user.
For me, I'll go for some resourcefully known and popular e-readers. Right now Amazon Kindle is having 65% of the bazaar share, and it has the best book content available for their ebook device. If you get other ebook readers, you'll not know how to find books on them as easy as you can on the Kindle... The Kindle also comes with free wireless, no other ebook readers enjoy such function.

There are two version of the Kindle and here is a comparison between them:

And remember to always check the offer enumerate here to see what options you can get. If you are lucky, you can see manufacturer-refurbished version which is a bit cheaper:

The Amazon Kindle must be the best e-reader in the market right now. Just read here, it is the best review I've ever read, from a individual who has owned different kinds of ebook readers:

I don't think any e-reader can come close to Amazon Kindle. Amazon has strong book publisher relation and lattice, and they have the ability to get various books available for their Kindle device. Even for strong companies like Sony, their Sony Reader cannot have available content comparable to the Kindle.

I recommend you to read this review, it comes from a person who have tried different ebook readers. It is also the best review I've ever read:

BTW, the Kindle 2 just has a price drop closing week. Source(s): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00154J… (Kindle 2 homepage)
