PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE KINDLE 2............?
im thinking about getting a kindle 2 and i was wondering, since it says theres no backlight so it doesnt glower in the sun, could i read it on a really dark bus or would i just own to use a booklight still, and can you adjust how bright the screen is (im guessing no because no backlight!) lol but please help! and do u like it??

No, you cannot adjust the brightness because there is no backlight. But the screen of the Kindle does adjust a bit itself depending on the environment. People who need to read surrounded by the dark like you will get a lighting and clip it on their Kindle device.

There is a mighty bright light which you can clip to the Kindle 2. Seems it works reasonably well.

Frankly, I really don't want it to have backlight. Now I often read for long hours with my Kindle 2, and I don't grasp tired. The eink works very well.
BTW, in casing you don't know, Amazon has slashed the price of the Kindle 2 last week, and it is now selling $100 cheaper than the price I get mine. Oh well... It is really a great chance to get it, within my opinion lol
