Is Amazon's Kindle or Barnes and Noble's Nook better?

Which looks better to you?
powerfully the nook is better here's a link of the comparison of the nook and kindle. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/nook/compa…

it will have 500,000 free book on day of launch as powerfully.

but yea the EBooks themselves will be about $1-$2 dollars more for barnes and noble then amazon.
I have a Kindle and I can tell you that some of the perks are that you can lay down books and have them delivered all on your kindle, versus masses other ebooks that require you to download onto a computer first. Also the books...are wayyy cheaper than on the Barnes and Noble ebook. Amazon also offers many lots free books so even if you are unable to purchase books as often as you like to, you can investigate for free books and I have found most of the books to be excellent reads. I purchased my kindle for 299 and the price have recently gone down to 259. I contacted amazon and they even refunded the difference back onto my credit card! The item with me is that I have had 0 issues near amazon.com and I order from their website constantly. The product is extremely light and the covers they offer are cute, sturdy, and it give you the feel of reading a actual book.

Obviously my choice is for the Kindle. My suggestion is to read up about it and see what fits you. :) Good luck and happy hunting. Source(s): I own a Kindle

From the executive page of B&N, here is how the Nook compares with the Kindle:

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/nook/compa…

Since Barnes and Noble page is only mentioning the advantage of the Nook over the Kindle, permit me try to tell more about the benefit of the Kindle 2 over the Nook:

- There is no internet browser for the Nook. So even with Wi-Fi, it can just help you to purchase book. You cannot search for Google, Wikipedia, check email like what you can do next to the Kindle.

- The Amazon Kindle has international free 3G wireless. So even if you're in UK or Australia (over 100 countries) or wherever, you can access the internet next to the Kindle free of charge. The Nook has wireless only within the U.S., and is constrained to be used for buying books only

- The Kindle is available outside the U.S. (it ships to 176 countries), while the Nook only ship within the U.S. at this moment.

- The Kindle have text-to-speech function, so it can treat an ebook just like audio book. This function is not present on the Nook.

- Amazon is already doing some conveyance after the Nook is announced (still more than one month to be available). They dropped the price of their International Kindle even further. And they are going to release a PC software which can read their Kindle books. With the popularity of the Kindle already in U.S., I believe they have the ability to overcome any challenger... So for me, I'll still go for the Kindle. At least books are cheaper and mostly like books for Nook will be at lowest possible $1 - $2 more expensive than the Kindle books.

I recommend this article as well, it is the best review on ebook readers I've ever read:
