Magazine subscription near kindle?
i am thinking of buying a kindle but am not going to if my subscription to my magazine would not be able to be downloaded at no cost (ie I already have the subscription and don't want to have to take-home pay for it again if i get the kindle)the same goes for some books i bought and am going to read when i finish my current one. the subscription and the books be purchased through amazon on my fathers account since he does all the online purchases for our ancestral when he can get a good deal for them. so would i need his password to bring back the books and magazine subscription. if so would i just need it the once. sorry for adjectives the text thanks in mortgage. :)

I'm sorry to say that you cannot have the Kindle version even you've subscription of daily version. About the password of Amazon account, you only inevitability to input it when you make some purchases or downloads on Amazon. After you downloaded the books / magazines, they are inside the Kindle and you can widen any of them at any time.
Even though you cannot get Kindle version for owning the paper variation, I still love my Kindle 2 very much. Since Amazon provide books for the Kindle cheaper than actual books, it has saved me moderately a lot of money. Right now I've read over 10 books with the Kindle, and I really close to the idea that I can bring and store all the books next to the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, so even I read with the device for long hours, I don't feel tired. My only complaint is the white crust, right now all the Kindles are in white color... I reason it will be cool if I can have a black or deep blue color Kindle ;)

Even if you already purchased the books and magazines on Amazon.com you own to repurchase them in the Kindle format. It's like owning a bunch of old tape but then wanting CD's... you don't get the new format for free.

No for magazines or books you currently have, you cannot get the Kindle edition for free. It is because what you bought is newspaper edition, not Kindle edition.

What I like the most is exactly the text-to-speech function, because it means I can "read" books without even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I resembling to use this function when I'm tired after work, it is just like listening to someone who is relating you stories...
Other than magainzes, books and newspapers on the Kindle are cheaper than the actual paper version. Amazon also provides pretty a lot free or very cheap books. I remember I read these reviews about the benefits of the Kindle when I approved to buy it:

Finally, you are lucky that Amazon just announced a price slash on the Kindle 2 last month. It is now selling $60 cheaper than the price I get my Kindle... It is really a good chance to get it.
