Kindle e-book reader - does it display pictures?

For instance, if I were to purchase the e-book edition of 'The Dangerous Book for Boys', would it disply the drawings of the step by step instructions to fold a paper airplane?
Answers:
Yes it does, but obviously not within color. See this link for screenshots of the kindle with pictures displayed:

yes - however they are in black and white and pictures above a secure size don't display. So would not recommend it.

So, Time for example doesn't have images in its magazine ubcription for the Kindle.

Details:
The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal remain the bestsellers for Amazon.com's e-reader, Kindle, but Time magazine have dramatically fallen to 12th place and continues to fall. Why? The display technology, eInk, is better than traditional displays at approximating the experience of text on a page, but the high-contrast, monochromatic eyeshade is lousy at displaying images. The Kindle version of Time omits the similes because of this, and Time magazine's appeal is as much in pictures as in words.

As the sole reviewer puts it:

This is a rather shameful electronic version of Time Magazine. There are NO pictures, no charts, no illustrations. Instead whenever you run into an article that has these contained by any decent amount, they've inserted an entry telling you to go draw from a PDF or print version. The salvation here is that their MOBILE web site at tiniest has some images (even if impossibly small) and seems better formatted and organized. It looks and feel like some cheap RSS reader collected this rather than being an electronic interpretation of the magazine. To fix it they should include all major article pictures, along with a full-screen copy of the cover. Time minus pictures, is like the Braille-edition of Playboy. No wonder it is just $1.49 a month.

Girl Help...Re-Kindling?
Ok, I like this girl. I sent her a love letter explaining this to her. She read it, wrote back and be surprised to learn that I liked her. She wrote me that she used to like me too. I am right immediately in no situation to go out with her primarily because she doesn't like me like she did before.
