I display files I've read on shelves approaching some individuals display their trophies, why would I want a Kindle?

I read from 1 to 3 books per month. But people have pointed put all my energy I don't look like a person who reads. People who know me know I read profoundly, but people who've just met me never believe me when I tell them reading is a hobby of mine.

I used to lately keep my books on my big bookshelf in the living room, but then inhabitants starting asking me if I actually read any of them.

Since many many general public have pointed out I don't look like a person who read books, I started highlighting every book I read, and sticking tabs on some pages.

Now, if anyone asks me if I really read, I can show them how I put a tab on a specific part of a book I like, and how the main points are highlighted.

I display display my books like trophies. If I ever bought a Kindle, I would no longer be able to display files I read so:

Why would I want to buy a Kindle?
Answers:
I do the same thing by 'displaying' the books I've read. I similar to to look back and see what I've read in solid form.

The question you should ask yourself is do you stipulation a Kindle? Why are you asking if you should get one?

I think that the Kindle is more for convenience, for people on the shift, or for people who don't want to carry around a hard copy of a book. If you are clearly capable of carrying your books, you might want to stick to hard copies.

On another note, the Kindle does rescue trees by using less paper.
Actually you can drop notes, annotation, bookmarks surrounded by the books on the Kindle. So if you want to show what you read on the Kindle, you just do the same entry on the Kindle. It may not be as apparent to other people as what you've done on actual books, but you can bring the Kindle everywhere and show all your favorite books on a single handy device to any family.

I own the Kindle 2, so let me give you some of my opinions. I've to read aloud I I love it! I think I've read over 20 books with my Kindle, no glitches so far!

One of the reasons I love my Kindle is that it have helped me improve a lot on my success and utilize my time. Before I have the Kindle, waiting time like when I'm waiting for friends or waiting for shuttle bus or some thing close to that is simply wasted. Now I just entail to bring the Kindle 2 along with me, and all my favorite books are inside it. Another thing I approaching the most is the text-to-speech function, which means I can "read" books without even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I like to use this function when I've myself busy on some boring things, articulate when I'm on the step machine or doing some housework...

I like reading and at the beginning I missed a bit on the reaction of reading books. But now I love to hold the Kindle, the e-ink seems to work very capably, it is really like reading books... Now I often read with the Kindle for several hours but I don't consistency tired...

And just in case you don't know, Kindle books, magazine and newspapers are cheaper than the actual paper version. Amazon also provides comparatively a lot free or very cheap books. I remember I read these reviews about the benefits of the Kindle when I contracted to buy it:

Finally, you are lucky that Amazon has announced a price slash on the Kindle 2. It is now selling $60 cheaper than the price I got my Kindle, so that's a polite chance to get one...

Hope it helps. Source(s): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00154J… (Kindle 2 sale page)
