I used to read contained by my bed until we got a new comfy couch. I really like my comfy couch.
I love reading in my room, or upstairs on the big comfy couch when no one else is awake surrounded by the morning. :) I agree, the bathroom, (not on the seat, ewwwww, lol), is also comfy. There's a corner by the wall and sink that's soooo comfortable, it's meh zone. ;)

I read in my comfy armchair at home, in bed, and at work in the staff canteen. Source(s): Myself.
i actually hold my own library. i am a married mother of two if i do not have a quiet room with a locked door for my reading, writing, and homework i will dance crazy! don't think that i just lock my self in in attendance every day, after my children go to bed i go inside lock the door, hubby watches tv, and i bring back to work. some times i come on here to answer or ask a question or two.
I like sneaking off to the bathroom and reading in the tub with a blanket wrapped around me(no water in the tub). Lol... strange, I know. It's really comfy and sometimes, I like to turn off the lights and read by candlelight. The problem is that sometimes when I come out, people right to be heard that I should get more fiber.
I kinda hold one. It's easily removable though. I either put pillows and blankets in my closet or the small space between my bed and dresser when I have a feeling like I want a reading nook. I share a tiny room with a three-year old right very soon, but when I get my own room (soon) I plan to make a better spot.
Fair Gloves- that sounds like something out of a good movie. Or book. Magical. Gosh, I'm domineering XD
I read in bed. Sometimes I read on the bus, but only if no one is in attendance to talk to. I have to have silence because I'm a bit too talkative and easily distracted. That's why I read in bed. Boring, but it works.
I either read on my laptop, which is in my room on my desk...
Or in my college library, at a table in the back, hidden losing a mountain of dictionaries and thesauruses.
(Which is kind of convenient... If I don't know a word, I can just grab one and look it up and consequently put it back on top of the stack...)
I've tried reading on my bed, or propped up by pillows, or anyplace more comfortable... but then I procure sleepy. :| So no fluffy comfortable reading nook for me.

I can read practically anywhere, except when the TV's on, I find that so distracting, so I go up to my room, it's really quiet...
yep. i like to curl up in this lil closet item filled w/ shoes. theres no doors, but thick coats to block any unwanted light. somepeople find sitting on shoes mortified, but i dont really mind. =]
My reading nook is a bathroom. My house has an old wing next to an old fashion bathroom which is my reading nook. The bathroom has no running marine so it's not used but it's cozy and away from noisy part of my house so I similar to it.
Lyra- When we first moved into that house I was convinced that that bathroom had a magical secret hallway to some far away world. When I didn't find one I was devastated.
I do not own a special place reserved for reading. I read anywhere. In chairs, on my bed, on the couch, etc...
I can and do read anywhere! I have a leather recliner in the lounge, the dining room is immediately my library with bookcases along one long wall, sofa and stereo which leads into the conservatory and I am usually found in in attendance with laptop top, music an my books - sheer heaven.
When I go out my sony reader go to in case there is a time I am bored and sitting unemployed. Love reading in a cafe with a coffee, or on park benches. And I love going to the local cemetery near my book - peace and quiet there too.
In my big comfy chair in the corner of my room. I take hold of a book and a warm blanket and I'm good to go! :)
Not exactly. I just like reading on my bed. Probably because I prefer reading laying down vs. sitting up.
I prop two pillows below my head, tilted slightly against the wall so i'm not looking up at the cieling XD

on my cozy red chair that's be in the family for generations to come! I basically read there when my baby cousin (she's 8 months old) comes to my house, and I try to get her to sleep, I verbs Half Blood Prince to her until she falls asleep.
