Barnes and Noble eReader Nook?

Hello,
I apologize in advance if the answer to this is extremely obvious but I'm not aware with ereaders and I cannot find this answer online elsewhere. I plan to purchase the B&N Nook ereader for my boyfriend, but what I'm wondering is will the ereader allow users to upload previously owned ebooks to it? My boyfriend travels a lot and therefore have a large collection of ebooks on his laptop and I want to make sure that he'll be able to put these books on the Nook from his laptop past I drop the $260 on it. Is there a USB cord that will transfer for the books or any road to do this?

Thank you so much for any help!
Answers:
As long as it's in a supported format (.epub, .pdf, etc.) and there are no license restrictions from the places where you downloaded the ebooks, you will be able to transfer them to the Nook.

This is because the Nook allows you to scenery and download ebooks from other sources. Also, if you already have an account with B&N, and you enjoy ebooks from them, that will make the process much more simple. You could transfer your entire library. Either way, you shouldn't own a problem.
